@2010inMotion Haha..no sorry i didn't mean to politicize. But the lady down there was asking what caused the controversy and backlash upon dixie chicks. And i answered exactly what was happening (according to mass media and internet) and THAT what actually happened. Whether like it or not, their controversy directly and clearly related to pre-iraq war event back in 2003 cause, they denounced US government and attacked President Bush personally due to his controversial war policy PEACE!

@Yellowatz I think this song was a respond to 'hostility' act against them back in 2003 caused by lead vocal's comment on Bush and his policy, which is found by some people as "Un-American" and "Un-Patriotic"
