I don't care what the Rolling Stone says either-- they've dissed Richard Hell and praised madonna-- but you asked who they influenced. I'm just giving you a bit of a picture of their recognition.
Imo their best song is London Calling, but many other gems include The Gates Of The West, The Guns Of Brixton, Rudie Can't Fail and White Riot. So yeah. Awesome! :)
