You don't know what you are talking about. Ray Charles quoted in public said she was one of the greatest female singers ever. And the woman is one of the greatest legends ever...EVER. Barbra is a lot of things but fake ain't one of them. There is Barbra and then there is everyone else.

I read in her biography, that Ray Charles was amazed at her 'soulful' singing style, but she was so difficult that their 5 hour recording session left him angry and exhausted. Someone even quoted him saying "She's a bitch." Well, when you're working with a perfectionist (and a diva at that too) that's what you get, eh? If you didn't know abt the whole behind the scenes shebang, you'd think that they clicked so well...
